Linsey Mizic is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor with a Bachelor of Science from The Pennsylvania State University and a Master of Science from Lock Haven University. Linsey has developed a robust clinical foundation through her diverse experience over the last 8 years in crisis intervention, family-based therapy, residential substance use treatment, and outpatient therapy, while also successfully operating her own mental health private practice.
As the Clinical Director at Sophros Recovery, Linsey brings a trauma-informed, client-centered approach to care, with a deep commitment to fostering healing and resilience. Her leadership is grounded in clinical excellence, team collaboration, and a passion for developing meaningful programming that meets the complex needs of individuals navigating mental health and substance use challenges. She is especially dedicated to creating inclusive, affirming spaces where clients feel empowered to reclaim their lives and build lasting recovery.
In addition to overseeing clinical operations, Linsey plays an active role in the development and success of the internship program. She works closely with the internship coordinator to ensure a high-quality learning experience for emerging professionals, emphasizing supervision, ethical practice, and the cultivation of clinical confidence.
In Linsey’s spare time she enjoys riding motorcycles, spending time with her wife, traveling to new places, hanging out with her animals, and learning how to cook new meals.
