Patricia was born in Bogota Colombia and moved to Jax at age 7. After graduating from University of Florida with bachelor’s in nursing she moved to Los Angeles to work for the department of Mental health. She received her master’s degree in behavioral health from California State Dominguez Hills.
Patricia has worked with clients struggling with chronic and severe mental health and substance abuse providing mental health treatment and medication management. She was part of the crisis response team for Los Angeles county until she retired in 2021 after working with department of mental health for 27 years.
Patricia moved back to Jacksonville in 2021 where she continues to utilize her experienced nursing skills at Sophros and enjoys seeing clients thrive. Her hobbies include attending concerts, spending time with family and friends, traveling, and going to the beach.
