Taylor Santioni obtained a Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of North Florida in August 2022 and is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in the state of Florida. She additionally received a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with a minor in Criminal Justice from the University of North Florida.
Her therapy style includes incorporating strengths-based, existential, humanistic, and cognitive-behavioral techniques. She believes in a holistic approach and strives to empower her clients to discover and utilize their inherent strengths to grow and learn throughout the therapeutic process.
Taylor’s passion for working with clients who have experienced stress and trauma led her to becoming a Certified Master Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART) Practitioner. ART is an evidenced-based form of psychotherapy that utilizes rapid eye movements, CBT, Gestalt, psychodynamic approaches, guided imagery, and metaphors to help clients address problems such as depression, anxiety, phobias, and post-traumatic stress.
Raised in Jacksonville, Florida, Taylor is passionate about serving the needs of the local community and fostering the mental health and wellness of diverse populations. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her family and dog as well as hiking many of Jacksonville’s beautiful nature trails.
